Clubbfitting

Club fitting is an integral part of the TSGI program.

If a student's golf clubs fit them properly then it's going to be much easier for them to swing more efficiently and thus score better.

student clubsAll TSGI students' golf clubs will be checked and analyzed and they will then go through a club fitting session at the beginning of the golf program. Specifications such as grip size, club length, lie angle; shaft flex will all be checked. A computer launch monitor will provide ball speed, launch angle, spin rate and smash factor for each students swing.

Gap fitting is also included in the TSGI program. Gap fitting is a system where a launch monitor records the distances that each club hits the golf ball. All students will hit every golf club in their bag and get an accurate number of how many yards there ball has carried. This will be a valuable tool for each student so that they know how far they carry each one of their golf clubs.

TSGI students will also get a ball-fitting recommendation. Using Flight Scope computer technology, students will receive information that provides them with the proper golf ball that fits their golf game. Flight Scope technology can determine which golf ball is best for the student's driver, middle irons and wedges. The student then can choose the proper ball that fits their golf game.
